La Riviere Nature Watch Station
The scenic Pembina Valley is where Manitoba’s premier spring raptor migration of hawks and eagles takes place.  You may spot a Bald Eagle, Swainson’s Hawk or Red-tailed hawk to name a few.  Each spring La Riviere hosts an annual event called the Raptor Festival celebrating the migration.  This event attracts hundreds of nature enthusiasts to this area to catch a glimpse of these birds in their natural habitat.  Other wildlife to watch for in La Riviere include Beaver, Wild Turkeys and the Great-Horned Owl.
